Lets’ pARTy!!

Uptown Painting Party is the largest independently owned and local BYOB paint and sip venue in town! We have a wide variety of thing to choose from such as, canvas paintings, ceramics, signs, windows, slates, glassware and more! With so many things to create we’re sure to host a pARTy you and your friends will remember!

Our new walk in studio located at the Johnstown Galleria Mall will be popping up September thru December to give our customers a chance to walk in pick and create on Fridays Saturdays and Sundays!

For groups please call for an appointment. Can’t make our weekend hours? We can come in any day or time just call 3 or more painters preferred.

How Does It work?

1. You can attend one of our weekly scheduled classes.  To view our monthly calendar look under the Calendar Of Events tab.  You call to let us know you are interested on coming or purchase tickets through the events page.  

2. You can come to our open studio where you just walk in during our open studio hours and paint any canvas or ceramic of your choice.  There is always an artist on staff that will be able to assist you!

3. You can schedule an event in the studio or out of the studio for all occasions!  We do.. fundraisers, birthday parties, bachelorette parties, private parties, corporate events and more… For more details about scheduling an event check out our Book Now tab.  

What is a Painting pARTy?

It’s a 2 hour event where guests follow along with a talented artists, have fun, relax, and ultimately take home a “masterpiece” of their own!

You bring the beverages, food (if you like!) or feel free to bring food from any of the great places here at the mall!

You’ll arrive 15-20 minutes early to get acquainted, meet your fellow “pARTiers”, and uncork your wine.  We make sure your time is enjoyable and FUN!

The instructors will begin and you’ll paint along step by step as you create a one-of-a-kind work of art to sign your name on at the very end!

We take lots of pictures, and encourage singing, laughing, and talking a lot!

Open Studio

We also have Open Studio hours for you to keep your creativity juices flowing!

Open Studio is perfect night out for you and your friends, family, or significant other to get out and do something FUN!

Just walk on in to Open Studio Friday, Saturday, or Sunday and choose any of our paintings or ceramics or wood projects to create.  We have our artists on staff to guide you through the painting process to create your very own masterpiece.  Additionally, we have studio time for those who are not in need of instruction, as well as various other projects and crafts to create!  Read more
