Uptown Painting pARTy in Uptown Somerset, PA is Unique and Fun!

We’re starting to bring summer of 2014 here to a close as we look forward to our September and October dates.  So much fun was had over the last months with all of our FUNdraisers and creative events we have held.  We appreciate all of your wonderful feedback and hope that you continue supporting our venue as we look forward to the upcoming holidays.

If you have any ideas or would like to see something on our calendar, reach out to us!  We’ll be glad to take your ideas and look for ways to incorporate them into the upcoming weeks.

Want to paint a specific picture or theme?  Contact us!  All you need is 10 people for a “Private pARTy” and we can help you choose something meaningful to all of you!  Want to host in a specific location?  We’ll even come out to YOU for no extra cost!  Contact us TODAY to schedule a date and for more information!

July 30, 2014: Kiddo Owl pARTy

Wow!  Did these kiddos and parents (and grandparent!) have FUN here at Uptown Painting pARTy! Every owl has it’s own character, just like the artist who painted it, even though we had guests who are TWINS! 🙂  So awesome meeting all of you and thanks for coming back to see us!  Hope to see you again soon!!!

July 31, 2014: Lighted Cube Event

How cool was this event??  We created our very own lighted cubes!  Everyone had a GREAT time, and the teens were able to spend quality time with their parents and family members!  It was such a nice night and everyone did a FABULOUS job!  Thanks so much for visiting us and hope to see you again soon!

August 6, 2014: Sunset Lake

These ladies had a wonderful time at Uptown Painting pARTy as they painted beautiful canoes on a Sunset Lake!  Way to go ladies, you did GREAT!

 August 7, 2014: Field of Flowers

Wow! We got great feedback from our Field of Flowers during our private pARTy with Servpro of Somerset County, so we decided to bring it back a second time!  We are so glad we did!  These ladies did a WONDERFUL job!! Thanks so much for coming out and hope to see you again soon!

Meet Our New Assistant!

We are so happy to have Alberto help us during events!  We wanted to introduce you to him officially, even though many of you have met him once or twice at our pARTies!

Hi, my name is Alberto VanHecke and I thrilled to be an art instructor assistant at Uptown Painting pARTy!

I grew up in Southern Wisconsin, in a town by the name of Watertown. I moved to Pennsylvania in November of 2013, and currently reside in Rockwood, PA with my loving girlfriend Tia.

While I have had no formal art education I have a had a fair amount of art experience. I enjoy various forms of art, however my true passion is in digital art, mostly focusing on photography, cinematography, and video editing. I have published photography for newspapers, record companies, local business, and others. Science and nature are my two most constant sources of inspiration.
